I am so MAD right now. I guess mad is bit strong of word choice…but unhappy doesn’t really seem to cover the negative emotions I'm feeling at the moment. So I was supposed to go on a walking tour with my Lit class tonight. Please note how I used the words supposed to go instead of went. We were planning on touring Shakespeare’s London- where he lived, worked, wrote, acted, etc and I was really excited about this in a dorky I’m-an-English-major-about-to-see-a-piece-of-history kind of way. However when I got to the tube stop where we were to meet NO ONE WAS THERE. Technically, I did not get there until about 6:04, because I missed the first train, but I really didn’t think it would be a problem. I waited around for about 25 mins thinking maybe I got the time wrong, but no one ever showed. I was very put out. So either the class must have left at exactly 6 or I got the time and place wrong. Either way, I missed the field trip and in the process gave myself a giant headache stressing over it. Today has not been a good day.
